Your Authority
Submit only documents you are authorized to process and decide whether the output can be shared.
No Guarantee
Detections can be incomplete or wrong. Human review is required; the service does not guarantee anonymization or legal compliance.
PDF Risk
Coordinate-backed OCR and verification help, but unsupported, encrypted, malformed, image-only, or unusual PDFs can fail or retain residual traces.

Free Flex Access
Privacy.ly Filter Flex is currently free, available without an account, and uses queued live Replicate processing with app-managed persistent artifact retention TTL of zero seconds. Priority processing is a planned paid option and is not currently available, billable, or covered by a latency commitment. Joining the Priority waitlist only requests product updates; it does not create an account, subscription, payment obligation, reservation, or service-level commitment.
Your Responsibility for Documents
You may submit only documents you are authorized to process through this service. You are responsible for deciding whether a document may be uploaded, whether the reduced output is adequate, and whether additional legal, security, contractual, or organizational approval is needed.
Human Review Required
The service detects likely private data and helps create reduced copies, but detections can be incomplete or wrong. You must review findings and outputs before using or sharing any result. The service does not guarantee anonymization, GDPR compliance, legal compliance, or removal of every sensitive trace.
Supported Use
Free Flex supports pasted text, HTML email samples, selectable PDFs, and coordinate-backed OCR for scanned or image-based PDFs when safe. PDF redaction is assistance software with human review required. PDFs fail closed when OCR cannot provide mapped redaction coordinates. Large, encrypted, password-protected, malformed, or unsupported files may be rejected, and residual traces can remain.
Prohibited Use
Do not use the service to break the law, violate another person's rights, process documents without authority, attack or bypass security controls, run abusive automation, upload malware, reverse engineer private systems, or create outputs you know are misleading or unsafe.
Your Content
You retain your rights in submitted content. You grant the operator and its service providers the limited permission needed to process your submitted content, return outputs, secure the service, and maintain non-raw operational records as described in the Privacy Notice.
Availability and Changes
Free Flex may be slow, unavailable, rate limited, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Live provider calls can take several minutes. If a provider or verification step fails, no output may be created.
No Professional Advice
The service is software tooling. It does not provide legal, compliance, security, financial, medical, or professional advice. You should obtain appropriate professional review for regulated, high-risk, customer, employee, health, financial, or legal documents.
Disclaimers and Liability
Free Flex and the Priority waitlist are provided as is and as available except where separate written terms say otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use.
